Our Annual BBQ and Auction was a HUGE success!!! The support and love the community showed us was amazing. We are blessed to have such an out pouring of support.
We had 20 homemade dessert to auction off, in our 1st Dessert Auction, we made over $700.00 on this alone. This is something we will be doing again!!! They all looked so delicious. We would like to thank all the bakers that made something for us; Nancy Davis, Kristina Bravo, Amy Barnhardt, Heather Ward, Mary Hagstrom, Susan Banner, Debbie Woodson, Bombshell Sweets, Curious Cupcakes, Marty Beebe, Kathie Bethel, Edie Ogborn, Stephanie Thoms, Jeannie Ecklund, and Jean Ann Amaral. You are all amazing and out did yourselves!
Keith Ogborn and family has cooked dinner for many years for this event. Every year he does an amazing job. We are very lucky to have him on the Board and to be our cater for the day. As always it was wonderful and everything was delicious. We sold over 120 dinners for the BBQ.
We were truly blessed with all the items that were donated to us. The Auction was the best it has been in years. With a full house of people to bid and a large selection of items this year, it was a very successful. We would also like to thank Paul Rubadeau and Jaymz Gable for being our Auctioneers.
A big THANK YOU to all the individuals and companies who donated items the auction. This event would not have been the success it was if not for you. The total for the evening was approximately $6500.00. This will go towards help paying for the day to day cost of running the Alpha House. We can't wait to see you all again next year!
